Date Kebab (Hurma Kebabı)

Today we’ll share with you a recipe that includes dates as an ingredient. Kebabs are traditionally made from meat, such as lamb, beef, chicken, fish, or vegetables. The idea behind cooking them is to slowly cook them over high heat until they reach desired tenderness. Ingredients

  • 1 kg minced meat

  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamon

  • 1 bunch mint

  • 200 gram onion (2 medium onions, finely chopped)

  • salt

  • black pepper (fresh)

  • 1 bunch parsley

Directions

  • For the date Kebab recipe, first put the minced meat in a bowl.
  • Onion, salt. Prepare a meatball paste by mixing it with pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, finely chopped mint and parsley and kneading well.
  • Tear off date-sized pieces from the mortar you prepared.
  • Shape it and wrap it in tallow and string on skewers.
  • Line and cook the skewers on the grill, you can also bake them in the oven.
  • Take the cooked meatballs off the skewer and serve.
